Leopards without the crowds

The Gathering — 300+ elephants at once

In the dry months, hundreds of wild elephants converge on the receding reservoir in one of Asia's greatest wildlife spectacles — 'The Gathering'. Nowhere else will you see this many elephants in a single frame.

Minneriya's quieter twin

When The Gathering moves on from Minneriya, it often shifts to neighbouring Kaudulla. Same elephants, same drama, a fraction of the jeeps. We watch where the herds are and take you to whichever park has them that week.

A safari you can add to a Sigiriya day

A biosphere reserve twenty minutes from Sigiriya, with resident elephant herds all year. Perfect when you're already in the Cultural Triangle and want an afternoon jeep drive without a long detour.

Off-the-map, for the second-time visitor

Very few tourists make it here, which is exactly the appeal. Large elephant herds, real wilderness, and a genuine sense of having the park to yourself. Best kept for travellers who've already done the headline parks.
